LPDDR, also known as Low Power Double Data Rate, is a communication standard designated by the JEDEC Solid State Technology Association in the United States. It is known for its low power consumption and small size, and is specifically used for mobile electronic products.
LPDDR5/5X and LPDDR4X are both low-power memory standards with different performance and functional characteristics, which can be applied to various electronic devices, such as mobile electronic products. Among them, LPDDR5X is faster than LPDDR5, with a performance improvement of 1.5 times and a bandwidth increase of 2 times. It also supports multiple Bank Group modes, and data can be transmitted through multiple channels, further improving the transmission data bandwidth. Compared to the previous generation LPDDR4X, the comprehensive scenario range of LPDDR5 can be improved by about 10%.

Product Introduction
SC6301 has the characteristics of low static current, excellent load transient performance, and high efficiency. Adopting a 3x3mm FCQFN3X3 ultra small package, it can save PCB space for memory systems and can be widely used in mobile electronic products such as laptops, PCs, tablets, etc.
The LPDDR5 power rail requirements are as follows:
SC6301 can meet the requirements of JEDEC standard for output voltage and timing. By controlling EN and VDDQEN, SC6301 can achieve flexible switching of S3/S5 states. SC6301 integrates two synchronous high-frequency buck converters (VDD2 and VDDQ). This converter adopts a constant conduction time control mode with internal slope compensation, which has excellent load transient performance and supports extremely low ESR output capacitors, such as ceramic capacitors. SC6301 integrates low on resistance power MOSFETs internally to improve work efficiency.
In addition, the peak output current of VDD2 can reach 14A, and the output current of VDDQ can reach 3A. SC6301 also integrates an 18m Ω load switch of VDD1. VDD1 supports a peak output current of up to 3A at an input voltage of 1.8V. SC6301 integrates rich protection functions, expanding its working range without damaging itself or system load. Protection functions include UVLO, OVP, OCP, UVP, and thermal shutdown.
